ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility statement.

I am committed to digital accessibility for everyone, and I audit the websites I build against the same standard. This site conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, level AA, with the known exception below.

If you encounter content on this site that you cannot access, or you have a suggestion for how I can do better, please contact me. I will respond within one working day, and remediate within ten where the issue is in my control.

What conforms.

Every page is built from semantic HTML with a single H1, a logical heading order, visible focus states on every interactive element, and full keyboard operability. Colour contrast ratios pass AA across body and headline text. Form inputs have visible labels, not placeholder-only labels.

Known exceptions.

As of 14 July 2026, the short service videos under “What I do” do not have captions or a transcript. One of the three (the website clip) has a voiceover; the other two are silent and are labelled as such. This falls short of WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion 1.2.2 (Captions, Prerecorded) for the one video with audio. I am addressing it. If you need that content in another form in the meantime, email me at david@actuallyai.co.uk and I will send you a transcript directly.

Last tested.

Automated testing using axe-core was last run on the date this page was last published. Manual keyboard and screen-reader testing was performed by me at the same time. I aim to retest at minimum once per quarter and after any substantive design change.
